Honey Wiseman

Business Manager

Qualification: BA (Hons) Economics, PGCE

Whilst achieving an honours degree in Economics at Essex University, part qualifying in management accounting as a Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA), and raising two children, Honey then completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) teaching mathematics. She worked in various large corporates in the UK before emigrating to Aotearoa in 2008. After a few years facilitating training seminars for an online tendering company in New Zealand and Australia and as a systems trainer for a retirement company across the North Island, she changed tack and became a zipline guide, then accounting manager/wine tour guide on Waiheke, just for fun.

Honey joined us towards the end of 2020. And it's here that she has found her new passion for helping to nurture and grow our biggest asset, our people.

Honey’s passions for wellbeing and sustainability are at the forefront as she works with the leadership team to realise the potential of our team in everything that we do, and as we progress towards reducing our carbon emissions. Contributing to overarching strategy and looking after our finances, planning, administration, and facilitating our marketing see her creative, organisational and task orientated desires satisfied.

Honey has climbed Taranaki Maunga, skydived in the UK, completed the New Plymouth half marathon, and patted a baby rhino in Nepal. More recently life is at a different pace, and she has been busy as a new grandma. She enjoys walking, cycling, and attempting the odd bit of vegan cooking, whenever she can find a willing victim to sample her fare.
